We are proud to present works by Israeli and Palestinian groups and individuals that deploy media in the art of resistance. Amateur images of civilian and soldiers are screened aside acclaimed Video artist Richard Fung's " Jehad in Motion" and a recent broadcast initiative from the city Heb2.tv. The result is a rich tapestry of sound and picture of the repetition of oppression that is the daily reality of/in Hebron.
The Exhibition features :
Photo Exhibition features a collaboration of works between two Israeli groups: Breaking the Silence and ActiveStills . The photographs are by Israeli and Palestinian photographers. The pieces, taken over the past forty years, focus on the forty years that the city, Hebron, has been in occupation. The tough photos of today' occupied city juxtaposed with older pictures shows how beautiful and peaceful the place was many years before.
