A witness from Within : An insightful presentation by ex-Israeli Soldier Avichay Sharon from the courageous group Breaking The Silence
Free
Avicahy Sharon
I was born in Israel in 1981 to a modern orthodox religious family. I grew up in Tel-Aviv and New York and currently live in Jerusalem and study Talmud and Philosophy at the Hebrew University. I was a combat soldier with the "Egoz" unit of the IDF between the years 2000-2003 and served most of this time all around the occupied territories doing arrest and search operations. In June 2004 I joined "Breaking The Silence" after realizing that all of us who had served in the occupied territories have a story that must be told.
